Huawei has announced its new premium smartphone Honor 8 in China with top-end specifications and features. It is the next flagship device of Huawei which is powered by Octa-Core Kirin 950 SoC processor accompanied Mali T880-MP4 GPU. The biggest spotlight of the phone is that it features dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with laser auto focus, 1.76-micron pixel and LED flash while the front facing camera features 8-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture. Huawei promised that the dual cameras will give impressive and magnificent image quality in low-light conditions.
Honor 8 is more identical to Huawei P9 in terms of specifications and features. The sleek design and metal frame with glass at the back gives the phone an attractive look. The phone sports fingerprint sensors at the back. It is a dual-sim smartphone weighs 153 grams while it dimensions measures 145.5 x 71 x 7.45 mm. The memory of the phone can be expand up-to `128GB via microSD card. Sim slot 2 will be used to expand the memory, unfortunately user can’t use both the sim and the microSD card at the same time.
Honor 8 features 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with the resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels. Out of the box the phone will run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with the skin of EMUI 4.1. On-board sensors of the phone includes fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass while the connectivity options include Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB. The Honor 8 has been backed with 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support.

Honor 8 is launched in three variants, one comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory priced at US$ 299 (Rs. 20,000 approximately). Another variant comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory priced at US$ 343 (Rs. 23,000 approximately) and the last variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt memory priced at US$ 374 (Rs. 25,000 approximately). The phone will go on sale from 19th July in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, Sakura Pink and Sapphire Blue colors in China.
